Thanks for popping by my blog today.
I wanted to come and share a fun card that I made using the gorgeous new stamp set, Sweets and Treats.
This was a new stamp set to the brand new Mini Catalogue and I just fell in love as soon as I saw it and wanted to have a play!
I actually popped on to my Facebook Page the other day and created this card on a Facebook Live. You can see the video recording here.
Here’s a look at the finished card…
This card was actually inspired by another fabulous Australian demonstrator…Rosa Leydon.
You can see her blog here.
I really loved how she created with the Cloche Bundle to create a tent fold card and so I wanted to use this stamp to create a similar effect.
I decided to combine this new stamp set with some (old-er) and bring out the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper to create a soft look to my birthday card. I was actually really inspired by Winnie The Pooh for someone’s upcoming birthday with the colours and I really love how it turned out.
You can see the video link above to see how to fold comes together – it’s super easy!
Here’s a look at the card folded down so you can see that it fits into a standard sized envelope! I love fun folds that do that!
I have coloured the images in a variety of Stampin’ Blends including; Pool Party, Mint Macaron, Ivory, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo. I have also added some Pool Party lightly around the Cloche image and used a Colour Lifter to fade this out a little bit. This added some nice colour and tone to the ‘glass’ of this image.
Here’s another close up image of the finished card where you can see some of the detail.
I added some of the Stitched Rectangles stamped with a sentiment from the set to the centre of my card and this also helps the ‘tent’ of the card stand up when opened.
I added some simple stamping to the centre and some more of the Designer Series Paper in a coordinating pattern.
I am a little bit addicted to the Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack and snuck some of that on there too.
So that’s another card done and I can definitely say that there will be more. I love this adorable set and it actually does have a coordinating Christmas themed bundle in the catalogue as well. You can see them here along with the gorgeous shaker domes that you can also get….
All of these products are available to purchase in my store here.

Big crafty hugs, xx
